What is ink fingerprinting and how does it work?

Ink fingerprinting is a traditional method of capturing fingerprints using black ink and a standard FD-258 card. As a mobile fingerprint technician serving Sarasota County and Charlotte County, I roll each finger in ink and press it onto the card to create clear, high-quality impressions required for background checks, licensing, and employment.

I offer both mobile fingerprinting—where I travel to your home, office, or business—and appointments at a local office in Southwest Florida for your convenience.

What do I need to bring for my fingerprinting appointment?

Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. If you received any special instructions, paperwork, or cards from the requesting agency (like an FD-258 fingerprint card), please bring those as well. If you need me to supply the cards, just let me know in advance!

Who needs ink fingerprinting?

Ink fingerprinting is often required for state and federal background checks, FINRA, medical licenses, out-of-state employment, adoption, immigration, concealed weapon permits, and professional certifications. If your agency or employer asks for traditional ink fingerprints, I can help.

Can you travel to my home, office, or job site?

Yes! I offer mobile fingerprinting throughout Sarasota County, Charlotte County, and surrounding areas. Whether you need service at home, at work, at a hospital, or for a group at your business, I bring all necessary supplies for professional, convenient ink fingerprinting.

Do you supply fingerprint cards, or should I bring my own?

I can supply standard FD-258 fingerprint cards and other common cards required by most agencies. If your requesting agency provides a special card or form, please bring it with you. Let me know your requirements when booking, and I’ll make sure you have everything needed.

How much does fingerprinting cost?

Ink fingerprinting starts at $X per card (please contact me for current pricing and group rates). All fees are disclosed up front—no hidden charges. Mobile service fees may apply for travel beyond 20 miles from North Port.

How do I schedule an ink fingerprinting appointment?

Scheduling is easy! Just click “Book Now” or contact me directly for mobile or office appointments. I offer flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to fit your schedule anywhere in Southwest Florida.
